Malaika Firth Says She “Ignores Racism” in Modeling Industry

Malaika Firth is a Kenyan-born British fashion model who started modeling after her mother saw a TV special about her agency, Premier Model Management. You may have seen this doll in the Victoria Secret Fashion Show,  Burberry ads, the TopShop holiday campaign or taking selfies backstage with our uncle Karl Lagerfeld! Studio Tom Ford SP/S 2016

Lively, uptempo, and artistic are some of the many words to describe the latest runway show by Tom Ford. The eccentric vibe and liveliness gave us a visual straight out of Studio 54, only in today's day and age. Tom Ford SS16 Paris Fashion Week Tom Ford Look 29 Models walked down the runway as if it was the dance floor with special lighting that captured every detail of the garments. The color scheme consisted of vintage 70’s prints, metallic and mixed patterns. The sleek detailing of the jumpsuits, jackets, tailored pants suits and cocktail dresses reminded us of how Andy Warhol and his artsy friends created the art formality of the fashion industry. Balmain: The New Army Collaborates with H&M

During the 2015 Billboard Awards, Olivier Rousteing, (Creative Director of Balmain Paris) announced that he was set to launch a collaborative collection with H&M. We were instantly excited and then we saw the campaign and LIFE WAS GIVEN!!! The collection is full of the fashion house's tribal inspiration, embellishments, signature looks, and patterns.  The H&M Balmain collection previewed on the runway Tuesday evening in New York City. Models such as Kendall Jenner, Joan Smalls, Jordan Dunn, Karlie Kloss, and popular (sister) models Gigi and Bella Hadid graced the runway previewing some of the signature pieces. Welcome Aboard Fashionistas Chanel truly set the bar of what it takes to bring creativity to the runway.  This year Karl Lagerfeld elevated the aesthetics of runway and style by creating Chanel Airlines. The airport terminal themed show gave us a taste of what it takes to fly first class in style! Burberry Debuts SS/15 Campaign in Colour

Burberry recently launched its highly anticipated S/S 2015 campaign featuring 44 year old supermodel and icon Naomi Campbell, alongside a 24 year old Jourdan Dunn. The colorful and energetic campaign was shot by the talented Mario Testino and we are super excited to see models of color featured in mainstream campaigns as of late. In addition, this is the first time Burberry has exclusively used black models for their campaign.
