Lupita Nyong’o for Vogue Magazine

Lupita Nyong’o, the Oscar winner and 12 Years A Slave breakout star, is still riding the wave of stardom after being named the “The Most Beautiful Woman” by People and “Woman of the Year” by Glamour Magazines.

The Mexican-Kenyan actress covers Vogue (for a second time) in the season’s hautest looks from Givenchy and Schiaparelli Haute Couture to Gaultier Paris, Atelier Versace, and Maison Margiela. Page for page, Nyong’o stuns in gorgeous gowns, even gracing us with the art of dance in the Paris’s Musée Picasso. A complete vision of beauty, yet the most beautiful aspect of the editorial is her words. The Star Wars actress talks about how her rise to fame was not always perfect. She was constantly discriminated against for the color of her skin. Her efforts and activism toward American standards of beauty is nothing short of heroic. If you have been living under a rock, read more about it here.

In addition to the spread, Nyong’o participates in Vogue Magazine‘s 73 Questions. It is witty and informative and you will literally fall in love with her all over again! What a great personality! “Lupita Nyong’o reveals a few of her (many) talents, from speaking Swahili and Spanish, to showing off her impressive hula hoop skills. The Oscar-winning actress also reflects on what it was like to move to Mexico at age 16 without her parents, how she learned to cry on demand, what life was like as a Hollywood production assistant, and what it took to bring her upcoming Star Wars character to life.”

Don’t forget to check her out in the upcoming movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens where she plays a pirate named Maz Kanata.
