Anya Hindmarch is obssesed with creating her own luxurious versions of everyday objects. The “Crisp Packet Clutch” was one of those “objects” that became uber popular as Solange Knowles carried it to the Met Ball and even used it to physically attack her brother-in-law Jay-Z. That night in the elevator became headline news, and her bag was well…at the center of it all.
Anya’s team played on the incident with this super cute and humorous marketing ad: “Worth FIGHTING FOR”

On a positive note, Anya’s team spent months working with specialist artisans in Italy to perfect the clutch, which is a designer replica of a Walker’s Salt and Vinegar Crisps bag. Photographs from every angle were used to create a three-dimensional prototype, which was then used to test for ergonomics and wearability. Coloured ink is added in layers to transparent varnish, which is done by hand to reach the difficult angles and sharp corners.
Metal in London Blue Price: £995.00“This intricate process ensures that each clutch is a unique piece of wearable art.”
