Studio Tom Ford SP/S 2016

Lively, uptempo, and artistic are some of the many words to describe the latest runway show by Tom Ford. The eccentric vibe and liveliness gave us a visual straight out of Studio 54, only in today's day and age. Tom Ford SS16 Paris Fashion Week Tom Ford Look 29 Models walked down the runway as if it was the dance floor with special lighting that captured every detail of the garments. The color scheme consisted of vintage 70’s prints, metallic and mixed patterns. The sleek detailing of the jumpsuits, jackets, tailored pants suits and cocktail dresses reminded us of how Andy Warhol and his artsy friends created the art formality of the fashion industry. Welcome Aboard Fashionistas Chanel truly set the bar of what it takes to bring creativity to the runway.  This year Karl Lagerfeld elevated the aesthetics of runway and style by creating Chanel Airlines. The airport terminal themed show gave us a taste of what it takes to fly first class in style! Chanel Fashion Show SS16 Chanel SS16 Look 50 Models walked down the terminal aisle carrying Chanel Luggage, Bags and accessories from the current collection. The collection featured 80’s leisure jackets, tri-color cashmere sweaters, and tracksuits through the eyes of what Lagerfeld says “the idea of how it should look”. Our favorite bad "gal" is at it again and this time she is taking over the sportswear world as Creative Director of Puma. Although she is not the first celebrity to provide creative direction for an apparel line, she is the only one considered a fashion icon by the CFDA. Her fashion influence is immeasurable. We will begin seeing the fruits of her labor in 2015 and beyond as this is a multi-year partnership focusing on leisure gear for women.
