"I've been looking for a denim skirt for about eight years, and there is not much selection," said Tracy Reese of her decision to make a denim skirt for Resort. "And I know that my customer is looking, too." But this is Reese—an unabashedly girly designer—which meant the classic workwear fabric had been feminized. For the season's denim midi skirt and high-waisted flares, she used a stretchy denim jacquard in herringbone and python prints. A fitted denim dress was done in an oversized floral eyelet and looked anything but casual.
