"I've been looking for a denim skirt for about eight years, and there is not much selection," said Tracy Reese of her decision to make a denim skirt for Resort. "And I know that my customer is looking, too." But this is Reese—an unabashedly girly designer—which meant the classic workwear fabric had been feminized. For the season's denim midi skirt and high-waisted flares, she used a stretchy denim jacquard in herringbone and python prints. A fitted denim dress was done in an oversized floral eyelet and looked anything but casual. Chime For Change recently celebrated its one year anniversary and Beyonce was in attendance with her check book in tow. After donating $500,000 to the cause, Bey, who is a cofounder, enjoyed the festivities with other celebs including her sister Solange, James Franco, and Blake Lively. Chime For Change is set up in part by Gucci, Frida Giannini (Creative Director of Gucci) and Salem Hayek.
